Our Story

Cakes by Fash started from a simple home kitchen in Johor Bahru. What began as baking for family and friends quickly turned into something bigger — word spread, orders grew, and a small hobby became a real dream. Today, we run a bakery in Taman Nong Chik Heights, but the heart of it is still the same: homemade recipes, honest ingredients, and cakes baked with care.

Our Philosophy

We believe good cakes don’t need shortcuts. Every tartlet is hand-filled, every croissant is hand-laminated, every cake is baked fresh — never frozen, never from a premix. We keep our menu focused so that everything we put out is something we’re proud of. If it’s not good enough for our own family, it’s not good enough for yours.

Our Approach

We’re a small bakery and we like it that way. Small means we know what goes into every single thing that leaves our kitchen. It means we can try new recipes, bring in seasonal flavours, and keep things fresh — literally and creatively.

From our signature tartlets to our pastries and custom cakes, everything is made in small batches daily. When it’s sold out, it’s sold out. That’s how we keep the quality.

THE BAKER

Fash’s journey into baking started at home — experimenting with recipes, perfecting textures, and sharing the results with anyone who’d taste-test. What started as a passion project on social media quickly built a loyal following, and in 2021 she officially registered CBFASH Enterprise.

From a home kitchen to a bakery in Nong Chik, the leap wasn’t easy — but the love for the craft never wavered. Today, Fash oversees every recipe, every batch, and every new creation that comes out of the oven. Her tartlets put Cakes by Fash on the map, but it’s the consistency and heart behind every bake that keeps customers coming back.
